A few weeks ago, I read an article stating that President Bush had vetoed a bill that would expand the children insurance bill on grounds that it would be too expensive – the bill “proposed [a] five-year expansion and $35 billion spending increase” and Bush only wanted the program to be increased by $5 billion.
