I took my first photography class when I was in ninth grade and feel absolutely in love with it; I didn’t take another photography class, however, until I started college in which I made it to photography 2 and then stopped. I would have continued on if I didn’t have to take a boring lighting class in order to take photography 3 and by that point, I needed to take some other courses to bring my GPA up so I opted to pass on photography for awhile – my poor Canon Rebel T2 has been collecting dust in a box in my closet ever since. I really need to take it out and start shooting again, I think that it’ll allow me to relax a lot more when things get kind of crazy. Only thing I wish is that it was a digital SLR that way I didn’t have to spend so much money on film and development, but for now I’ll have to stick with the good ol’ 35mm.
Last night while I couldn’t sleep, I started looking around for some Photoshop actions to bring some more spice to the digital pictures I have taken. I had seen quite a few photographs taken by some others that had been enchanced by these actions and thought they were pretty neat. I found some really great ones that give photos a lomo effect, which I aboslutely love as well as an action that gives a photo an aged look. These are some of the things I came up with:

photography equipment that I would just love to add to my collection. Not to mention, I’m a fan of Canon products all the way as I own a AE-1 (35mm) camera along with my newest addition a Canon Rebel T2 (35mm) so I know they make reliable, well made prodcuts. As a second year photography student, I can say that photography is one of my favorite hobbies, however, I have yet to really venture far into the realms of digital photography (my photography classes were film based). I currently own a Samsung Digimax A7 (a 7MP camera) which is a great point and shoot camera if you’re taking random shots here & there or ata family event, or just to take candid photographs that can be printed out later and used in
