The other night I went to Wal-Mart and purchased the desk pictured over there! I wanted something small that I could put in the living room so that I can move my desktop out of my room and have a space to work on my laptop instead of always sitting on the couch. I didn’t realize, however, that I could move the Linksys Router that I have into the living room and have all the laptops and computers pick up the signal without having it hardwired to a computer. For some reason, I was under the impression that the modem and the router had to be connected to at least ONE desktop PC that didn’t have a wireless card for the internet to work. I do have a wireless card for my desktop but I loaned it to my brother so I’ll have to take it out of his PC. I need to reformat the desktop again and it needs a new motherboard but it’s so old that it isn’t worth it to replace it…I miss working on my desktop it’s so much easier to do themes and WordPress stuff on there than it is on the laptop.
