A few weeks ago, I received an unidentified package via FedEx; I thought to myself…I didn’t order anything, what could this be? Upon opening it I realized that it was the sock monkey product that I had been offered to do a review of it. It immediately put a smile on my face.
The sock monkey whose name is Pogo is made out of soft polyester knit and filled with filling. His torso is filled with some sort of pellet filling to make him sturdy which allows him to sit on his own. He has magnets in his hands and feet which allow him to be attached to multiple surfaces. I must say, he’s the cutest sock monkey I’ve ever seen with a vibrant multi-colored stripped body, yellow detachable scarf and hat.
I decided to take him on an adventure to the daycare I work at and let the children test him out. Of course, I didn’t want him to get TOO dirty but they had fun with him. One of the kids didn’t want me to put him away! Not only is the sock monkey a great companion toy for a child, it is also a great gift for a collector with a price that won’t break the bank. You can find other sock monkies at the Genunie Monkeez site. I would highly recommend them as a gift for any child.
When I get the chance to get a personal picture, I will do so. I don’t have a digital camera to do this but I have a webcam I can use! I’m hoping to get a picture from my phone with the monkey with the children.
