In the next few months I hope to be a proud owner of the following: a XBox 360, a Macbook Pro (13-inch), and a new up to date fast desktop PC. Alan is getting me an Xbox 360 as my back birthday present since he was unable to get me anything for the last two birthdays I’ve had because of lack of money and jobs. I had talked about getting an Xbox 360 at the beginning of the year because it’s something we could do together and talk over since we’re apart the majority of the time but I didn’t have the money to get one. The Macbook Pro I plan on getting when the Fall semester starts and is something I need/want for school. I decided on getting a Macbook over a XP based laptop simply because I like the design and the functionality of the Macbook, not to mention I’ve read so many good things about the Macbooks more so than XP based laptops.

And lastly, I’ve started putting together a wishlist of computer parts so that I can build my second computer. My current PC is 5 years old and way out of date (1.83 ghz! lol) and has constant issues with locking up and/or restarting itself; I think the motherboard was damaged when my graphics card fan decided to stop working and would overheat itself. Because it’s so old there is no point in just replacing parts – I’ve already replaced the graphics card and memory in it once – so I figured why not build a new one? I like the idea of having a desktop and laptop for use because sometimes a desktop is more comfortable to sit at and work on when a laptop gets to be too much. Hopefully, I”ll be able to do all this in the next few months as I’m starting to put money aside for the desktop!
