I’ll be moving at the end of July to a brand new apartment; literally, it’s brand new and doesn’t even open until August. Hopefully, they will be done a few days ahead of schedule so I can move in at the end of the month. I’m excited and can’t wait to get out of the crappy apartment I am in now. The latest and greatest thing that’s happened is the AC from the apartment next door was leaking and it leaked so much that it came into my apartment under the baseboards. Of course, the maintenance guy did nothing but give me a huge fan to dry the carpet, told me the carpet cleaners would be here last week and they never showed up. I decided after that, that I was for sure moving. It’s a smaller loft style apartment but I’m on a corner unit with no one on either side of me – just below me…so that should cut the noise by 95%! It also has a pretty long deck, if I’m not mistaken, so I could easily put some patio furniture out there to relax in. We’ll see though!
