200 > 500!

It took all but 20 minutes, yesterday, to find out that it would cost $973 to repair the damage that someone else did to my car. Luckily, I am insured and will only have to pay $200 of it. I was so happy and excited when I found out my deductible was only going to be $200 and cover a rental car because USAA is filing it under Uninsured Motorist Coverage rather than the Collision Coverage. What’s nice is that my tax return – every last cent of the $200 it amounted too – will cover the costs, so it’s like I never lost money. Paying $200 is definitely not as big of a hit on my wallet as $500 and it’ll allow me to keep saving the money I already have for the other things I want/need: new computer, a bed and I can start looking at digital cameras again. Hopefully, I’ll be able to schedule the actual drop off date sometime tomorrow so that the repairs can get on there way…I hate seeing the big dent in my car every day!

I’m glad it didn’t end up costing as much – would have been a real huge pain in the ass. Yay for you :D

I’m glad it’s not going to cost you too much, that would have been awful =[
