Let it snow, let it snow.
LET IT SNOW… it’s been snowing all damn day, so much so that we accumulated 3.5 inches of it and it started snowing again about 20-30 minutes ago. By the way, have I mentioned how much I loathe the snow, despise the snow and just flat out hate the snow? I am not exactly sure why I feel this way about the light fluffy white substance that falls from the sky when it rains at cold temperatures and collects on the cars, the streets and everything else that does not have some kind of covering over it.
In fact, I should love how it feels crunching under my feet, making the ends of my jeans wet because they drag on the ground, and how it feels to have it hitting my face when it’s windy and snowing at the same time. Hell, I should even love how it accumulates and freezes on my car resulting in me having to use a Swiffer pole (yes, because I do not own a broom or an ice scrapper with a long pole attached to it) to knock it off the car roof and the hood so it doesn’t go blowing all directions when I’m driving or how I have to scrap the windows every time I go outside.
OH and let’s not forget that people seem to get even more crazy and stupid while driving when it’s been snowing, going 40mph down the road when they should be going 10 or 20…who cares that the roads have been plowed and now they are icing over; I guess the 15 vehicles that were involved in car accidents earlier today doesn’t mean a thing to them – I’d rather not be one of those people as a result of your stupidity, pass me if you want but I’ll be driving like an old grandma who has bad vision down the road. So yes…I don’t know exactly why I am not a fan of the snow, I mean after all it never did anything to me, to hurt me or put me in danger and if anything, the only thing I wish I had was a great digital camera so that I could take pictures of it in all it’s beauty…as for everything else, it’s winter time in Kansas what else am I too expect, sunny 80 degree weather?

I despise snow. It’s cold and causes too much commotion when it comes to travel. We’re expecting freezing rain tomorrow. My personal forecast? A warm bed and a fiance to snuggle with. I’m not leaving.

I love the snow! Even reading your post I was thinking why yes, I do enjoy all of that. Except for my pants getting wet and crazy drivers.

I HATE people driving in the snow. It’s not the actual snow that gets to me, it’s the fact that people act like they’ve never seen it before. Ugh!!

I totally agree. People think they can drive however they want in the snow, especially if they have four wheel drive & think they’re safe from anything, grrr! I like your wintry layout though!

The snow and I have an… understanding. I prefer it to rain, but just barely. Good luck with the crazy drivers!

Drivers + Snow = BAD mix! lol, I think people really freak out when they see the “white stuff”. I just drive with caution, or not at all!
I actually just bought myself a new digital camera. It’s a step up from your point & click camera, but wow, am I ever addicted!
