I never really got around to posting much about the apartment I moved into last month when I arrived in Kansas; in fact, I had a whole post thought out in my head about show casing the items that my grand parents have bought me and how I’ve got everything set up. I still plan on doing this and I’d really like to have some pictures to show you since visuals make it easier than trying to explain how everything is set up in an apartment you aren’t familiar with except I don’t have a camera. I’m going to see if I can borrow my dad’s or brother’s when I go to their house next, I also have to compile a list of the items that were bought for me; many of them are really neat and I think a lot of you would like them.

In general though, I have everything set up and the way I want it – at least for now. The living room and bathroom are taken care of as is the kitchen. I do need to get some new, brighter light bulbs for the bathroom since the current bathroom lighting is not that great and I still need to get some kind of kitchen rack to put next to the stove so I have more room to store pots, pans and foods – I don’t have much kitchen space at all. I also am trying to keep an eye out for a cheap (either new or used) coffee table since the one that came from my dad’s has a loose leg and there is NO way to fix it, so it leans and looks silly.

I’ve tried my best to make it my ‘home’ and make it warm and inviting but I’m not quite there yet, hopefully it will be soon.
