What a busy week.

It’s only Wednesday and my week has already been really hectic. To start off with the kitchen sink backed up for the second time in a week; the maintenance guy came and unclogged it last week after I used the disposal ONCE and shit decided to fly up out of the drain and fly every where – it was so gross. Can  you guess what happened when I used the dispoal the other night? You guessed right, it decided to clog up to the point where water was backing up into both sides of the sink, so I couldn’t use it for the rest of the night; I actually had to use my bathroom sink to wash out one of the bowls I had used to make dinner so I could put it in the dishwasher. I don’t put anything down the disposal that shouldn’t go down, and have only used it after scrapping my plate into the trash and rinsing what is left over. Hopefully, this time around it’s fixed for good and I won’t have any other problems with the sinks in the house, otherwise I’m going to be very upset and someone will be replacing that stuff!

On top of dealing with that (it only stressed me out since it took more than a day to get it fixed thus I couldn’t use my sink at all!), I have my first test in most of my classes this week and next week so I’ve been pretty busy with studying. I had my first math (college algebra) test today and don’t feel like I did to well on it except in certain parts – not enough to make a passing grade though. Luckily for me, I get to retake 2 of my tests so if I ended up doing very poorly I can retake it later, and have my highest grade count instead of the lowest. I’ve never been good at math, and I try really hard but never seem to “get it.” Tomorrow, I have my first in-class essay for my Western Civilization class which is stressing me out a lot. She wouldn’t give us the actual question for our essay but I do know it’s going to based off Plato’s Republic and Aristotle’s Politics, two stories that I do not care for nor do I really understand. We get to use our notes and books for it but that won’t really help if I don’t understand what the hell is going on!

All weekend will be spent studying for my first Corrections exam on Monday, which I’m not too worried about. I just have to make sure I recognize the definitions and I’m able to write the vocabulary word that goes with said definition (IE: completion problems); the only thing I hate about that is the fact that there’s I think 5 chapters worth of definitions I have to study, along with the information that goes with it. And then finally, my week will conclude with my first test in Child Psychology which I’m not worried about at all since it’s all multiple choice scan tron and it’s over stuff that I’ve pretty much already learned in my psychology 101 class. As you can see though, I have a lot on my plate…hopefully, things will go well and I won’t stress out too much.

Good luck on all your upcoming exams. I’ve never used a disposal, as we always just threw things in the trash. It sounds like a pain.
