Kansas sucked.

The drive to Kansas wasn’t that bad despite feeling sick to my stomach and having a god-awful headache the entire way there; we ended up driving straight through, which is a 17 hour drive and got stuck in snow around the Saint Louis, Missouri area which was interesting in itself since my mom had never driven in actual falling snow, despite us living in Kansas for six years. We stayed in a hotel the first two nights because my brother’s place reeked of cigerrate smoke and neither of us wanted to deal with his roommate, Sean who almost got his ass kicked anyways for having the worst attitude on the planet. Seriously, he was given TWO MONTHS notice that my brother was leaving, waited until the LAST (literally) minute to move all his shit, then got pissed off because he was having to move out in the first place yet lived pretty much for free for the past six months at my brother’s AND dad’s expense, fuck him.

My mom and I didn’t get along pretty much the entire time we were in Kansas; it didn’t make for a nice time for either of us…it never fails though, when my dad is around or if they are in the same state, her attitude changes and all of a sudden it’s like she goes into this ‘i’m on his side’ mode and refuses to listen to a damn thing my brother or I tell her. Basically, in a nut shell, I thought she was mean to me all week but whatever.

And then, Alan and I broke up then didn’t break up and it was a big mess and I don’t even want to talk about that because it doesn’t even matter at this point. On the way home, I got sick and threw up for an entire 24 hours from Kansas to South Carolina. I didn’t have a good week and I’m glad it’s over. End of story.

Wow, that sounds like a horribly long trip. His roommate sounds like the rudest and most inconsiderate person ever as well. *hugs* I’m sorry to hear that everything was shitty and hopefully things take a turn for the better now that you’re back.
