Alan will be here around 5:45pm or shortly after…I can’t wait. I was really pissed off that he wasn’t able to fly out last night because of the airlines cancelling his flight due to crew shortage and not being able to find a damn flight attendant to fly with them. What made it even worse was the earliest they could get him into Charleston was 5:45pm today, leaving at 12pm or so from Detroit and having a 1-2 hour layover in Atlanta. It irritates the shit out of me when things like that happen – you PAY for the flight times you picked out, if I wanted him to be here at 6pm TODAY we would have paid for him to be here at 6pm today – it also irritates me because just by switching the days on which you fly could mean you save money or spend more…whatever, I guess at least he’ll be here in an hour and that’s all that matters right? Hopefully, my poor little old bed will be able to fit the both of us, otherwise I might need to invest in one of those nice platform beds – I’ve looked at them before but ended up going with what I have now, I think we’ll be okay even if it means him being pushed out of the bed and on to the floor
