His luggage is packed – at least most of it – and he’s ready to go and I’m ready to pick him up! In less than 24 hours, Alan will be arriving in Charleston to spend the week with me as well as meet my family. It’s been two months since we last saw each other and since our first meeting and I couldn’t be more excited – it means a lot to me that he’s coming here to meet my family since this will be the first guy anyone has met that I’ve dated in a very long time. It also means a lot to me that he’s willing to come this way in order to meet my family which shows a lot. I can’t wait to spend time with him…it’s very needed!! I don’t really have much planned for the week except going downtown one day and going to the Japanese Steak House, I also want to go see the lights but we’ll see how things go when he gets here. I work from 6pm-10pm tomorrow and will most likely just leave work and head to the airport when I get off – he comes in at 11:32pm according to his flight information but when I flew Northwest to Michigan in October I arrived in Detroit a lot earlier than expected. We’ll see how quick I get out of work and such since the airport isn’t far from where I live. So excited!
