Is it possible to be allergic to dust? I’m sure it is…I think I am or at least have a really horrible allergy to it. I remember when I first moved to South Carolina from Kansas six years ago and would get sinus infections monthly – it was horrible and I hated it. I cleaned my room a few weeks ago and I got sick from it because of the dust, I ended up with a stuffy nose, a headache that wouldn’t go away, I just felt horrible. I didn’t realize at the time that I had actually gotten sick from cleaning my room until I cleaned out my computer case the other day trying to fix my cd-rom. It was then that I realized I had gotten sick from all the dust; when I cleaned my room I thoroughly went through EVERYTHING, dusted, moved stuff around, threw stuff away and while my room isn’t dirty or overly dusty, it was time to dust and it was just enough to get to me. I realized after cleaning my computer case out which was full of dust that it was the dust that was causing me to become congested because it happened again the other day – luckily though it didnt’ say with me long. After this, I’ve seriously been thinking about getting one of those air purifiers to put in the bedroom and/or house when I move into an apartment with Alan or something…it would help a lot with keeping the air clean along with getting rid of nasty allergens that may make me sick even though I haven’t had a sinus infection in a very long time, it still hurst me bad when spring comes around because of all the pollen and stuff outside. Heck, I even make sure that there is a hepa filter on the vacuum cleaner now so that it catches those nasty allergens!
