I took my third probability and statistics test yesterday and just checked to see if my teacher had input our grades online…I got an A+ (100)! I’m so excited as I should be; that is my second 100 this semester and so with the two 100’s and 92 that I have I have a 98 or so in the class, she drops the lowest test grade you have if you attend 95% or more of the classes (can only miss two days since it’s a 2 day a week class). I’m even more excited because so long as I do well on the last test and the exam, I should come out with an A in the class which will be one of the first on my transcripts (been making all B’s) which will bring my GPA considerably!
After classes, I headed over to the Tanger Outlet Mall to pick up an application at Bath and Body Works - I asked the lady who gave me the application what they were looking for and she said they were mainly hiring for seasonal which isn’t a big deal because depending on how things work out when I hear back from MSU and such, I may just only need seasonal but if not, if I perform well and if they have the space they could keep me until after seasonal…isn’t that how it works? Anyways, I went to my car and filled out the application since I made sure to bring a copy of all my work experience info with me so I wouldn’t have to come home, fill it out and drive back; after filling it out and going back to the store, another lady who took my application in set up an interview time with me for Monday at 3pm. I’m excited, I would think that would be a fun place to work not to mention it smells good
On the way home, I stopped by Starbucks and picked me up a small Strawberries and Creme Frappuccino. I swear, I’m going to kick Alan in the ass when he’s down here for getting me hooked on these things. I’m not a coffee drinker and so it never made sense to me to go to a Starbucks….after all, it is Starbucks COFFEE, lol. But when I was in Michigan, he’s like telling me how they have these frappuccinos that taste really good, like strawberry, blueberry, orange etc. So I got a small one while I was there and really liked it, :yum: I’m kind of glad I don’t like coffee, (1) I think it smells awful and (2) saves me from having to buy an espresso machines or coffee machine that will take up counter space - although, I think Alan drinks coffee so I guess I won’t get away from it fully, damn!
I’m off to take a short nap before I go to my grand parents house for hamburgers and such for my grand mother’s 65th birthday - I told her the other day “man…you qualify for old people’s insurance now, huh?” and she said she had been waiting all year to turn 65 just so she could get insurance, haha
