Poor Animals!
My brother called my mom last night to tell her that he had taken Butterscotch, my step-mom/sister’s cat, to the SPCA. The cat belonged to my step-mom/sister but for some reason when they moved into the new house, they didn’t take him and instead left him with my brother. My dad isn’t a big cat fan so I don’t know if that played into it or what the exact reason for leaving him behind was but…cats and my brother don’t mix either and so he decided to get rid of him. He called and told my dad also and my dad said that he’d just have to tell Lynne (step-mom) that he got out and ran away otherwise she’d have a hissy fit over the fact that Josh took him to the SPCA; I don’t understand why she thinks she has a right to get mad over the dumbest things, if you wanted the cat you should have taken it with you, DUH!
Josh and his roommate, Shawn, also got rid of the pit-bull they had. Apparently a few months ago, Shawn got a female pit-bull from an old neighbor of his before he moved in with my brother. Even though, there is a rule in the tailor park where the tailor is located that pit-bulls aren’t allowed due to their mean nature, they kept it - from what i gathered from my mom’s conversation with him, someone saw the dog and wrote them a letter saying they needed to get rid of it which was no big deal to my brother since it wasn’t his anyways. Hell, now they can save money because they don’t need to buy dog supplies or cat supplies anymore which is a good thing since they are in need of money for bills! But I feel bad for the cat, he was a good cat and I just hate when animals get sent to the SPCA because eventually, if they aren’t adopted, they are put to sleep
Bah…
