The weather this weekend has been rather dreary, I figured it would have rained at least once but the clouds have managed to hold their tears in a little while longer which is fine by me! It’s also cooled off quite considerably but still not enough to pull out all the long sleeves and jackets yet – that’s one of the reasons I dislike living in South Carolina or at least in Charleston. While I don’t particularly care for the cold of Winter and I’m not a HUGE fan of snow, I still expect it be cold during the fall/winter season just as one would expect it to be really hot during summer! It was really weird though going from here to Michigan and then back and noticing that the leaves haven’t even changed color here…sigh!

I spent all day yesterday out and about with my mom. I wanted to get something for lunch so I paid for lunch at Panera Bread – I had half a bacon turkey bravo and a bowl of broccoli cheese soup and she had a roast beef sandwich with some kind of potato soup…was really good! :yum: We then went over to Target and the mall to see if we could find some jeans for my brother, I guess he hasn’t had new clothes in awhile and is in need of some new jeans but because he’s having to use all of his money paying bills hasn’t had the extra to go find him some. We found a few pair which my mom will send out this week to him. We were also looking for a new vacuum but didn’t have any luck finding one – the one I wanted to get we found at Wal-mart but of course they were out of stock so I might see if they have it online. The vacuum we have now is so old and falling apart, it hardly picks up any of the dirt and grim on the floor so it’s time for a new one…I told my mom that if I buy it for her I’m taking it with me whenever I move out since I paid for it, haha so mean I know

I decided that I would go tomorrow after classes to pick up some applications at various retail stores at the outlet mall. I was going to do it yesterday but after spending the whole day with my mom, I was too tired to go by the time we were finished with everything not to mention it had gotten fairly late since we stopped by my grand parents house before heading home since they had come back from the mountains yesterday. I have a few places in mind that I want to apply for and I figured it wouldn’t be as difficult to find a job with the holiday season coming up, most places will be hiring seasonal staff – only thing that sucks about that is that you can’t really take any time off during the season if you need too because you’re hired specifically to work during that time, but I’ll managed.

On a side note, I will start working on a new theme in the next week or so if I can find the time and motivation to do so. I’m getting tired of this pink color so I’m going to switch back to the old theme (which is the same as this one) because I like the colors more until I get a new one made. I had an idea in my head it’s just a matter of finding a theme similar to that idea that I can tweak or figure out how to create it in CSS so look for that soon.
