I have all my books for classes; my aunt took me to the downtown campus awhile ago so I could get my last book for my Criminal Justice class before finicial aid closes tomorrow @ 1pm. In total, books for 5 classes all new except one cost about $440…the one used book I managed to snag was still $95 USED! It’s ridicilous that textbooks cost so much, and then when one tries to sell them back after the semester over in basically brand new condition you don’t even get half of what you spent back, not to mention a lot of the textbooks they won’t buy back because they seem to change editions EVERY semester. Either way, I have all the books I need and I’m good to go.
Also, I received an email earlier from a receptionist position I had applied to a week or so ago. I guess they tried to call me but my voicemail disconnected, I’m going to call them ASAP to setup an interview; I’ve been looking for a position like this for awhile now, something that was pretty flexiable because of my class schedule that I could work in the afternoons (1pm until)…so we’ll see
